How to shop

1. Click on the 9 images on the "Welcome to nordliving online"-page to see descriptions of the various categories we offer.

2. Click "browse" to enter the actual shop where all our online items are displayed.

3. Write down the article number/colour/quantity of the item/s you are interested in on a piece of paper or copy/paste straight in to the box provided at the bottom of the order form which is located next to the "browse"-button.

4. When you have completed your order fill in your personal details in the spaces provided and click submit.

5. You will then see a message telling you that your order was successfully submitted. If you do not receive that message on your screen your order has not been submitted. (TIP! It is a good idea to print a copy of this page- once it has been submited- as your record of what you have ordered.)

6. Wait for us to contact you via email or telephone to confirm availability and final price (including freight).

All prices are in Australian Dollars (including GST). Prices are subject to change without notice.

Security, Ordering & Payment

Our initial feedback tells us that you would prefer not to be giving out credit card details over the net so we will start by offering an over the phone payment system instead. This way we will have personal contact with you in a way not usually allowed by cyber transactions. We believe this builds better trust and a long-lasting relationship, which is one of our core aims at nordliving.

So how does it work

After receiving your order, we will call you to confirm it. The goods will be dispatched as soon as we have received the payment or the sale has gone through on your credit card. We accept money- order, direct debit into our account, visa or mastercard. Postage & handling (p & h) will be added depending on weight according to the table below. Our handling fee is a small charge to cover such consumerables as bubble-wrap, padded bags etc, but rest assured that we will recycle as much as possible to keep this cost to a minimum.

Do not send any money until we have contacted you with a final amount for your order.

You can also place the whole order over the phone by simply calling us on (03) 9815 2222 between 11-5 Tuesday-Friday and 11-3 Saturday.

Delivery

We aim to have the goods you ordered in stock at all times and your order will be delivered Australia Post within 10 working days. If we, for some unforseen circumstance, are out of stock of anything you have selected, we can place it on backorder or you can cancel your order. We will notify you asap if the item is unavailable and give you a rough estimate of when we are expecting it again. If the item is for a special event it is always a good idea to let us know in good time to avoid disappointments as a lot of our stock comes from overseas and delivery times can be 4-6 weeks.

For urgent deliveries within Australia we can also courier the goods at the cost of the courier + a small handling fee.

Please feel free to use our complimentary gift-wrapping service. We can also include a gorgeous handmade card with your wording inside should you wish us to send the item directly to the recipient. Card options, cost and designs can be discussed when we call to confirm and process your order. Please write your message at the end of your order (on the order form) and we will confirm it when we contact you.

Gift Vouchers

If you are not sure what to give as a present, why not use one of our stylish gift vouchers. They are redeemable both on-line and in our shop in Hawthorn and can be purchased in any nomination from $30. We can also arrange to post your gift voucher straight to the recipient with your message inside (normal Australia Post tariffs will apply).

Returns and Refunds

Any claims for shortages should be made immediately upon receipt of goods and any claims for damages should be made within 7 days from receipt of goods. All returns must be authorised by us. This authorisation can be obtained either by emailing or by telephoning us. We are happy to refund your payment (less freight and handling) within 7 days should you not be completely happy with your purchase. Please note that we need the goods to be returned in the same condition they were when you received them (including any packaging) and we will only issue a refund once we have received the goods back-including any packaging.

Privacy

We respect your privacy so be assured that your personal details will not be passed on to any other organisation. They will only be used for correspondence between you and us.
